What Is Your New Favorite Drink?

Recommended Posts

So, I live water...I really do. However, sometimes I want something else. Crystal Light is ok, but does anyone have any other suggestions? I used to be addicted to diet cokes. I'd have at least 3 Sonic sized Route 44s a day, and more can drinks in between those, so I'd really like to stay away from those. I'm worried if I had one I wouldn't stop. Any suggestions?

I love MIO. It's not as asidic is crystal light tends to be and they even have a sweet tea flavor which surprisingly tastes a lot like mcDonalds sweet tea! It's great and a nice change from the fruity type drinks.< /p>

I agree with the Mio approach. I'm really loving the lemon flavor. Note that carbonation is what makes sparkling Water sparkle... Mio, Crystal light, propel - all work for me.

I am liking tea a lot more. And Decaf skinny mochas and lattes: they have 10-15 grams of Protein and a reasonably low calorie hit.

I tried Mio and Crystal Light. It tastes fine but any of that sugar free Koolaid-type stuff goes right through me, I pee every 10 minutes.

I like the Oceanspray flavor packets. Kinda hard to find, but Kroger& Dillons carries them.

I live on Water..

shelly77

i also only drink Water too.. its the easiest thing for me to grab and chug, and i'm just used to the taste. at first i had trouble getting in my 64 oz. now i do great, have extra H20 too.

in my case - no problems w/water - or wanting to replace

iced tea is a good suggestion, and later maybe non-sweetened cocoa - stuff like that

good luck

I got hooked on 7Eleven's sugar free slurpees, particulary the cherry limeade!!! Then I start adding ice too it. Maybe hooked isn't accurate, ADDICTED is the truth! Lord help me, lol!!! But, give me some ice cold Water and my sleeve and I are content:)

I'm not sleeved yet but I've been instructed to drink as if I were. I agree with the Sobe Life Zero. I don't feel left out at convenience stores.

I've become a lover of loose tea. Have my own special brewing pot and enjoy ordering and trying new types. It takes time to make and prepare so I make it at night. Just the little ritual seems to stave off the late night munchies for me.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
