Hi guys! I'm a patient of Dr. Hoffman. July will be 3 yrs post sleeve for me. I'm doing well!!! The struggle is real trying not to let old eating habits slip back. Those old habits can creep their little ugly heads back in if you don't stay alert. I turned 62 two weeks ago and I know, without a shadow of doubt, if I hadn't been sleeved I might not be here now. I never made it to my goal weight, but, I feel great!!!

I'm almost 3 years out and I'm 10lbs from my goal. At first, I was a little discouraged, but, I've lost 176lbs from SW!!!! I'm not worrying about those last ten pounds. I feel great, I've got my life back, and i look pretty darn good, lol!!!! I've got so many NSV's, they're too numerous to count!!! I'm concentrating on maintenance. You celebrate what you've achieved! I say, you've done an awesome job and you are AWESOME!!!! Celebrate

Oops!!!! When that gas hits your shoulders, that's the worst!!! Ugh!!!!

@shellyd88. Although, companies vary in their policies for time off requests, there are some rights that are generally accepted. I'm a supervisor for a NY state agency. You are obliged nor obligated to give the details regarding your request for time off for a medical appointment. Is there a Human Resource department where you work??? If there is, and you need to show proof, you can turn in proof that you were seen written on a script/letterhead from your provider to human resources directly. Also, if someone from your cardiologist office shared your personal information with your supervisor without your permission, that's a violation of HIPPA laws and you need to formally file a complaint!!!

Sending out best wishes to those with upcoming surgeries!!! On another note, I'm still trying to figure out the last time I was at my current weight and in a size 14. This is just amazing. However, I think I'll stop trying to remember and rock with it because, I'm giving myself a headache, lol!!! That's waaaayyyyy too many years to recall, lol!!!
