Anyone approved for revision with Aenta? Did they require pre surgery nutrition or any evaluations? Even if you had it for Band? How long did approval take?

Did you have any luck with getting Aetna to approve your band to sleeve revision? Did they consider it a whole new procedure requiring resubmission of 2 years history and psych eval? I have Aetna too and am awaiting a response - I know that I can have my band repositioned or replaced. But my band has prolapsed and Dr is suggesting sleeve would be a better option considering the situation.

My employer would not approve without 6 months of tests and all kinds of things I have already done. Not to mention my out of pocket would be more than the entire trip to Mexico. So off I go in December to Mexico.
