  1. I had mine for 10 years and got a Sleeve revision. So much better. Dr. Said it was tangled in scar tissue when he took it out. Best thing I ever did!!

  4. I am almost 1 month post op. I have been sick with sinus, viral infection, coughing, no appetite. I am so depressed......even down 25lbs that I can't make myself eat or barely drink. My body aches and I promise I try! I can't shake it....just feeling horrible. I have had no trouble and have healed great....other than my vitamins make me vomit. Anyone else have this trouble?

  7. Today is my first post surgery appointment. It has been 11 days. Minimal pain. Not a lick of nausea. I have been so lucky! Can't wait to see if I am doing as well as I feel. I has lap band to sleeve revision. Best thing I have ever done! Hope you are all doing well!!

This has been the best surgery I have ever had. I did lots of walking......that is key. Good luck for all whonare about to have your surgery. Sharon

  15. My employer would not approve without 6 months of tests and all kinds of things I have already done. Not to mention my out of pocket would be more than the entire trip to Mexico. So off I go in December to Mexico.
  16. I got my band 10 years ago and I hate it. Just as sais...choked on top hungry on the bottom. I am having revision in December. I would never recommend the band to anyone!!
  17. Anyone from Asheville or Western North Carolina?
  18. Anyone approved for revision with Aenta? Did they require pre surgery nutrition or any evaluations? Even if you had it for Band? How long did approval take? Sharon
  19. Have had my Lap Band for 10 years. I have never had a decent fill. Always too tight or too loose. I have Optum Heal and almost at my deductible. Anyone have luck with them? Pretty sure my doc will do the sleeve. Do they take out band and do sleeve in one surgery? Any advice? Sharon
