Hi All!!

It's been a while since I've post on this thread, but I wanted to share my good news........I'm down 108 lbs!!!! My surgery was October 24th, I had faith that I would get to this point, but it all seems so surreal.... How are the rest of you doing?

Ok...so have been feeling "pretty good" about my weight lose but not really excited until I saw myself in a picture. Then I compared it to last year and damn I felt good. So far I have lost somewhere between 80 and 90 lbs (my scale bounces all over the place, so I just wait until I go to the drs and get an accurate weight). This is the best thing I have ever done!! I see all the pictures of everyone on this site and am so proud of all of us!!

Hi everyone..I'm doing pretty good. I've hit a stall, but I'm currently finishing up nursing school, so once that's done, I will concentrate on toning. Starting weight = 219 current weight = 145. I'm so happy about this fabulous gift, and new way of life! (Tried to upload pics, but system crashed...maybe another time)

Hi my surgery is scheduled for October 4 g-d willing. I am doing it after my holidays just easier to find a place for my 2.5 year old. I had the Lapband almost 6 years ago and lost weight but gained it back and can't seem to loose it. The dr feels I'm a great candidate to the revision and see hopefully no problem with it being the same day. Q to anyone who did it in nyu how much of the shakes am I supposed to drink for the liquid diet? ??

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
