Wow! Watch out world because I am miss moody! I can't seem to help being irritated with everyone or everything. I was sleeved June 6.

Anybody else going through something similar? I feel like it's affecting my relationships, and I would like to get it under control.

Thanks!

My NUT told me is due to not getting enough carbs. And honestly I was one of the most easy going mild mannered people prior to surgery. She (NUT) says it temporary and my GP put me on a anti- depressant to try to stabilize my moods. I have since decided to see a counselor becuase I want to be both physically and mentally healthy !

I was excessively moody for about a month post surgery. I feel like all has stabilized now. Actually lately I have been feeling really happy. It's hard to be in a bad mood when you are getting thinner! I hope it settles for you all soon too!

I guess it doesn't help that I am having issues with my marriage, plus I'm trying to start my own business, plus I have 3 kids under 6! Perhaps the reduced calories plus too much on my plate makes for a volatile situation.

I am currently seeing a counselor and I do eat a few carbs (1/2 c of Total for breakfast). I want to try and exercise more - but I'm not sure what I can do beyond that. :)

I find it helps when I vent on my blog about how I feel, even if no one reads it, it feels great to just get it out. Or when I'm feeling cranky if I take a walk and get those endorphins going it makes a big difference. I added just one minute of jogging to my walk today because I wanted to see how it felt/if I felt like in a few weeks I'd be ok to start couch to 5k, and it took me from feeling kinda low to feeling really good - and completely pumped up. I wanted to do more! I still am not cleared for exercise though, so I am just gonna put that on the top of my list of things to do in 2 weeks =)

I thought it was just me. I am moody all of the time. I was sleeved 01/30/2012 and so far I've lost 68 pounds. I was anxious before surgery, but now it's different. It's like PMS but all the time. I snap at everyone, I don't smile like I used to, and no one can do right by me. I wonder how much of this is weight loss, how much is me going through lady problems, and how much of this is my husband not understanding what I am going through. I take anti-anxiety meds and I found they are effective with anxiety, but not this sadness. I tried other meds, but they didn't work. I think my next step is counseling and joining a gym. I know from the past I feel better after exercising and sitting in the sauna.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
