Pre Op Testing

I have had two of the tests so far. I had the psyche consult and that went fine. He sent the eval to barix and said I am an excellent candidate. Last night I had the sleep study test. Slept better than I thought I would! Place was very nice, comfortable and even had a flat screen tv in the room with cable tv. They told me that the only way they will call me is if I do not have any sleep issues and that if I dont hear from them I must go back next Friday night for the test with the cpap machine. I will be surprised if I have sleep apnea, I have never been a snorer and have none of the other typical symptoms. I really hope they call so I don't have to do this again next week and then will have more time added on before my surgery. Oh well, I will deal with whatever they say I have to deal with!!

Next test is the endoscopy this coming Wednesday then the cardiac the following Monday! Then just wait and hopefully get scheduled soon!

Very nice! You have the process rolling eh? I am pre op as well. I have had my sleep study and I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea! I was so confident that I did not have this problem. I felt devastated when I received the news!!

Next week I have my PT, NP, Psychological evaluation, and nut appointment.

I hope your sleep study results yield no sleep apnea!!

Wishing you Wellness,

Sannah
