Any Northern NJ's out there??

Hi:

Just thought I would throw this out and see if there are any other bandsters from northern New Jersey who would be interested in sharing great food finds, great grocery stores, restaurants that are accomodating, great walking paths or fat-friendly gyms, or just chat. I KNOW there must be some because there were 8 people in my pre-surgery conference alone!!! And there were 100's at the seminar!!!

Come on you New Jersey folk. Say hi!!

First Fill scheduled 9/5/06

Dr. N. Bertha/St. Clare's Dover Bariatric Center

I'd quote our state slogan but wasn't the last one a bust because it was borrowed from another state?? LOL You HAVE to love New Jersey!

I just want to have one they are so cute and fun to watch.

what do you do at the hospital anything fun?

Rita-Ann

Hi Rita,

Yeah that ticker stuff drives me nuts. I am an emergency room technician. I also have my EMT. In nursing school right now.

I just made an appointment with my doctor cause I think I need another fill my restriction is gone these past couple days and thats scary!! I am very good at piling weight on!!

Cheryl

Hi Everyone!!!!!! OMG - I am SO happy to see all of you! I'm in Byram, and I just met with Bertha/Abkin last week. I'm not sure which is which, as I met them at the hotel. Anyway, I want to go to St. Clares; we've gone to them for years, and always with good outcomes. I will be back later to read some more, and gain more knowledge from all of you!!

Abkin is adorable and has a wonderful accent and balding on top although Bertha is cute I think he is shorter with dark hair I love Abkin he changed my life....

Sherrilynn

I have never felt better or I am on my way to looking wonderful again, its hard to believe I let my self go I used to be so hot.

but what out here I come....

and you will love him I personally promise

Rita, no, I don't go to any support groups. The one they have at hackensack was dominated by this one woman who had the band for like a month and the entire sessions were "all about her" and she knew everything.. OY was it frustrating. I find that I get 24/7 support right here. Any time I need to know something LTB has been to my rescue. Plus with work, the house, dd, church.... I can't seem to squeeze in the extra time to do much more.... I'm pretty content lol.

Cheryl, nice to meet you. I live in Bergen Cty, not far from Wayne.

Welcome to BandLand Everyone ;)

Hi Marcy....I grew up in Georgia and now live in Morris county..lol. Guess we switched southern/northern places.

Hi everyone in NJ...hope all are doing well. My life has settled a little bit. I saw cute Dr. Bertha this week and will get another fill. First opening though was last day of the month- yikes!!!! I have zero restriction so I feel like I am flying solo.

Have a great October!!
