I built the recipe into MFP as I made it. It made 6 servings. Each serving was 88 calories, 4 g fat, 3.3g carbs, 9.2g Protein.

I saw the recipe and I decided to do it. It very good and it taste like lasagna.

Shelly's Baked Ricotta

8 oz of Ricotta cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan

1 large Egg, beaten

1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

salt & pepper to taste

1/2 cup Marinara Sauce

1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, beaten egg, seasonings together and place in a oven proof dish. Pour marinara on top and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake it in the oven @ 450 for about 20-25 minutes (best) or nuke it till hot and bubbly. I usually made it first in the oven and heated the leftovers in the microwave[/quote']

I can't wait to try this but I think I will try the muffin pan style. I bought a frozen dinner the other night and just squeezed the filling out of the canneloni Pasta. It was amazing!

Looks Great! I made one last week with grilled chicken pieces and, though I only ate a few ounces the rest was gone from my son. He's such a piglet! <_<

I make it with meat sauce for more Protein in single serve ramekins. I bake them in the oven until bubbly and browned, like lasagna. It feels so decadent! Can't beat it when you are craving pizza, lasagna, anything Italian.

To those that have made this recipe: Do you use reduced fat cheeses? At what stage did you first eat this? Soft food stage?

Thanks

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
