I ventured out of the house yesterday for the first time since surgery. We went to Target so I could get food for my soft diet. When I got home I was freezing and my whole body was shaking (it was raining outside). I eventually became very lightheaded and dizzy so I slept off and on the rest of the day. Early this morning (4 a.m.), the upset stomach and diarrhea started...felt like I was going to die! Has anyone experienced this? Any idea what might have caused it? Is it ok to take anti-diarrhea meds?

Does anyone successfully eat popcorn? How many weeks after surgery could you eat it?

I had the sleeve done on July 9, 2012. It was difficult the first few days but is getting easier day-by-day. Still on full liquid diet and longing for something with a crunch! I previously had a lap-band for almost 3 years and had it removed in September due to slippage. Gained 40+ lbs back with some previous health problems returning also...total lost with band was 74 lbs. My ultimate goal now is to lose 50-60 lbs
