Anyone Have Gastric Sleeve Surgery 5 Or More Years Ago?

I was hoping to talk to a 50 plus sleever who had surgery 5+ years ago or more. Just hoping everything is still good and the surgery has not affected their health in any negative way. Anyone out there?

Well I've been sleeved 3 years. I am doing great. This board hasn't even been around 5 years, so it maybe difficult to find someone 5 years out. There are some people on Obesityhelp.com who post on the maintenance board who maybe that far out.

Ask your doctor if he still has a relationship with any patients that far out - an dwould he pass on an invitation to chat.

Craigslist - no kidding...just be careful about meeting up.

I'm out 3 years as well and doing great! Still have tons of restriction but can eat virtually normal again. . I'm not overdoing it and have been maintaining beautifully! hope this continues into my 5 years and longer!

thanks for the good ideas...it's nice to know things are still going good after 3 years.
