New Around Here! Need Some Advice!

Hello everyone! My name is Leigh Ann and I am 21 years old. I am new to the forum. My sleeve has been approved by my insurance, and the tentative date is July 23rd! :) I am beyond excited to start a new life and become the healthy person I have always wanted to be. Does anyone have any suggestions for me after surgery to prevent blood clots? Any advice? Also, what are some good tasting protein shakes out there for all of us chocolate lovers? Thank you in advance for your guidance. Nice to meet you all! :)

Thank you for your help!

Walking regularly is the best way to ward off blood clots. The doctors, nurses and techs always made sure I was up and walking as much as possible.

On the shakes front, the Premier Protein Shakes you get from Sam's or costco are very good. You can buy chocolate and vanilla there. strawberry has to be ordered on line. As you hang out here more, you will see Premier come up a lot. It is very good and very popular around here.

Welcome and good luck to you in your journey. I look forward to seeing you around here.
