I am not scheduled for surgery yet, but I am in Akron. I will have mine at the Kaiser facility in Parma; I think it used to be Parma Community Hospital? Good luck. Robbie

I was going to have the procedure done at St Vincent but I would have had to pay $350 out of pocket plus the cost of the psych evaluation. Don't have to pay anything at the Clinic.

I just finished all testing and 3 month diet. I live in Parma and will be having my surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.

I have bcbs and my plan plainly sucks. I have to pay $3800 out of pocket plus my insurance did not pick up the phyc evaluation which was another $250.. But it will be worth it in the long run. I had to diet for 6 months and just got mg date last week.. I find myself on this site alot to know what to expect from the sleeve.

Wow.. that is alot out of pocket but great that u have the resources. I'm hoping to get a date soon. What part of Cleveland are you in?

Resources not really. Had to cash in our 401k but it would be worth it. I hope you get a date soon. I put a count down on my phone and im getting super excited. Im in parma.

What part of Parma are you in? I'm at Hauserman and Brookpark. I'm so ready to get this done..

Were neighbours im on the otherwise of the parkway. St bridgetts is our church. Did they tell you when you will get a date?

The Clinic makes you go through testing EKG, chest X-ray, bloodwork in addition to the psych evaluation and nutrition appt and their medical doctor. All those have to clear you before they submit to insurance. I've been cleared all of them but have not met with the surgeon yet. That appt is 6/27. I can't wait.

I hope all goes good and fast for you. I think after my pre admit testing things will fly. The only really big thing im worried about is that im having my sons graduation party 10 days after surgery. But my friends promised helping me and do all the lifting...

Yes I'm sure things will work out well for you with the graduation party. I'm really hoping I will be having my surgery around the same time as you. I'm 253 now and I have to be 246 for them to do the surgery but I know I will lose that doing the 2 week fast.
