I called my nutritionist because I am in a stall at 4 1/2 months. The scale has been at 180 for 3 weeks! She told me to cut out the 1 oz of cheese I eat every other day. After reading that healthy fats and Protein are the way to go, I'm wondering if I shouldn't be cutting the carbs instead, I eat 30% fat, 30% carbs and 40% protein. She says that my food choices are very healthy, but I should be eating no more than 25% fat. She also doesn't think I'm only eating 800 +/- 50 calories a day. I measure carefully, read labels and enter the into into Fitday.com.
I do know that I need to step up the daily exercise. I hike like a mad person on the weekends - up and down the local mountains until my muscles are pretty sore.
I don't know what's right anymore. Did anyone have a stall like this? Yes, I have seen the boot camp thread, but I'm wondering if this can't be cured another way. I'd like to know what I might be doing wrong.
