Lap Band To Sleeve Revision In 5 Days With Dr.kelly

Hi all, I have a Lap Band and am going to have a revision to the Sleeve done in 5 days with Dr. Kelly. A lot of different emotions going on, excited, anxious, nervous, etc.. I would love to hear from anyone that's done the revision.

ohhh good luck!!! i too am having a band to sleeve on 6/5 so i can completely understand the mix of emotions i finally got to the point today where i stopped took a deep breath and closed my eyes and just focused on the best of the best i told myself i was going to have an amazing speedy recovery with no nausea or complications. i told myself that i was going to do the work that i needed to do to get the weight off and be healthy again, then i imagined myself in all of the cute clothes i was going to be able to wear and not have to buy a size up to hide my tummy and thighs. all in all it was a great meditation! i wish you much joy and i wish you the very things i just spoke of!

I just had my revision on the 22nd. So far, so good. My pain has been well under control, and I feel pretty decent overall.

Thank you all for the well wishes. Judging from what I've read I'm sure it's going to be a great experience. The Dr Kelly I refer to is the one from Mexico. I'm self payiing since my insurance won't cover it.
