1st fill....They had trouble finding the port

I had my first fill today and both the PA and the surgeon who was finally called into the room had trouble finding my port. I think they stuck me a total of 21 times. I realize now that I should have said "enough" at some point but they kept saying they almost had it.....eventually they got it, but it was fairly tedious....took about 30 minutes of jabbing. Now Im worried that the tubing could have been punctured....God knows they punctured everywhere possible in a 2 inch area. Anyone else have something similar happen?

Yes I know what you went through

My first fill was horrible

I was the last appointment of the day so it gave my doctor so much more time to access my port. Oh my god I was in ther for an hour and in pain for 2 days. But the brighter side is that the next time you go for a fill he now knows exactly where it is and should have no problem

I just had my third fill today I was in and out in 10 minutes

Good Luck
