Recovery Question For Dr. Nick Patients

This may not be really specific to Dr. Nicholson patients, but it sort of seems like my recovery is so different then other people who had surgery the same time I did from a different doctor.

1- How long until did it take for you to feel ok?? I mean be able to really go walking or even go to the store?

2. How bad and caved in was your side incision? Does it look normal after you heal?

Thanks!!

I can speak to my process. I am 3 weeks post op (tomorrow) and my "dent" in my tummy is noticeable. I do have 90lbs to loose so I am very heavy but it is there and I think will flatten out once I loose the stomach. I also still feel pain now and then when I get in the bed or walk around I feel the pulling feeling.

Thanks!! I had no idea about the dent before hand. I know all the diet instructions are different from doc to doc, but I keep hearing people with the same date saying how awesome they felt & I am still in pain!!

I am about 6 weeks out of surgery now, and feeling well now. For the first week, I felt really weak. I had a hard time getting the protein, but week 2 onwards it became a lot better. The incisions started to heal for the better around week 3 for me. The "big" dent disappeared around 4 weeks out for me, and now looks normal. My surgeon was Dr. Nicholson as well.
