I have two girls ages eight and eleven. I am not embarrassed about getting the sleeve..I just want everyone to know. If I tell my kids..they will tell the world. I am also worried that they will really be frightened. Just curious those of you with kids around my age ..what did you tell them?

My girls are 7 and 2. I told them I had to go to the hospital to have surgery on my stomach. The older daughter did not ask any questions at all. I think if you make a big deal about something, the kids will make a big deal. My baby girl just wants to kiss my boo boo =)
