The Right Choice...

I'm sure like everyone else, I've wondered if I'm making the right decision... I went to see my primary md today for clearance and for her to review my test results from labs, etc. I was floored. I have a critically low Vitamin D level (a result of obesity) as well as sky high triglycerides - they MORE than doubled in two years. It scared me hearing the numbers, but gave me a peace about any question I had in having surgery. It's time to get healthy again.... So thankful for this opportunity!

Surgery date coming soon!

Same here. I have dangerously low vitamin D, B12, and iron levels. I also found out that I am pre-diabetic. :(. This just solidified my decision to have this surgery done. Now I have to jump through just a few more hoops before I can submit to insurance.

Thank goodness we all have decided to have this surgery, or alot of us would never know what was going on inside of us!! Get those triglycerides down girl!!!! whew! Good luck, and keep us posted!!
