I am 6 days out. I am extremely dizzy. It comes and goes. I also break into a sweat couple times an hour. Any advise? I see my surgeon on Wednesday so I will ask him. I can't seem to get anything done cause I am so dizzy.

Maybe dehydration start hitting the fluids maybe add some juice half strength If it continues contact Dr. When I had dehydration I felt dizzy and also felt very nauseated. Good Luck hope you feel better soon.

If I was you I'd call the dr ASAP and notify him even if you are a lil dehydrated you shouldn't be having the sweating spells have you taken your heart rate ? If it's consistently above 100beats per minute that's a sign that there is either infection or a leak my coworker works the bariatric floor of my hospital and told me the things to watch for not to scare you but you should really let your dr know how you are feeling that's not normal !

It would be a really great ideal to call your surgeon's office and run it by them. In addition, force yourself to drink more fluids. Let us know how your doing. ;)

I was dizzy for the first few weeks whenever I would stand up. I came close to passing out a few times. My doctor told me

That this was very normal And nothing to worry about. The dizziness has finally passed!

I had the same thing. Especially the sweaty and dizzy in the AM. Mine was for sure dehydration. Just get your fluids up. Drink nonstop. Make a smoothie with ice in it. Also keep you water bottle in hand and force yourself to drink. Good luck.

I'm 3 mos post op & have experienced the same symptoms (light headed, dizzy, sweats). I've even had to lye down on the stairwell w/ shirt off until it passes. Never knew why I felt that way & would forget to tell my doctor during my visits. I has gotten a little better though.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
