Having Surgery In Ny But Would Like To Recoup In Florida

HAs anyone done something like this? I have peop at 2 weeks and then 6 weeks. I plan on making both apps, but would like to go to Florida in between to stay with family at the beach. I would like to have a doctor while in Florida in case of a provlem. Has anyone done anything like this? Are docs willing to take you on for a visit or 2?
