Has Alternating Calories Helped Anyone Through A Stall?

What I mean by alternating calories is, I was doing 700-800 calls a day and stalled for 2 weeks (was getting loads of protein and water), so I decided to up my calories every other day and slightly lower them the other days so 1000 calories, 600-700 calories, 1000 calories etc. After 3 days I dropped over a pound. Has this worked for anyone else, or was it likely a fluke with the timing?

I know a lot of people just up water or protein but anyone else got any other solutions they use for breaking the stalls?

I know stalls aren't a big deal and you usually still lose inches but I am just curious.

I have to go pretty much carb free with exception of my milk to lose a significant amount.

I find myself to be the opposite of Libbe for some odd reason. If I go too low with my carbs I stall out. That isn't to say I haven't gained and lost the same two pounds for a week or two either- but eventually it starts coming off again. I have no problems getting in my protein and since adding fruit back into my diet my energy is 10x what it used to be. Play with you stalls to learn what works for you and you'll do great :)
