I'm 23 days post op and I woke up really early this morning super nauseated and to no surprise I had the dry heaves because I had nothing in my tummy to throw up! Miserable miserable miserable... Now the day is winding up and I'm still nauseated! I hope it doesn't have anything to do with the sleeve! I can barely drink without fearing the awful "vomit" feeling!

something seems wrong from what you are saying, I would call your surgeon. it sounds worrisome.

My surgeon told me that nausea is a sign of dehydration. So have you at least try to slowly sip on water.

I was afraid of the dehydration thing! I'm going to work extra hard to get more fluids in, I KNOW my fluid intake has been bad!

I feel MUCH better today! Must have just been one of those things... I did make sure to drink drink drink after my post yesterday and throughout the night when I woke up! It must have been the dehydration or I guess I could have had a 24 hour bug, either way; all is well here :-) thx for the advise!
