Ninja 1100 Anyone Have This?

Recommended Posts

I'm watching the infomercial for the Ninja 1100,it looks pretty good. Just wondering if any one has feedback on it. It's kinda expensive, but I want one. It will help me stay " excited" about my Protein Shakes, if I can doctor them up with stuff and make me think Im drinking Starbucks and Jamba Juice!! Ha

I love my Ninja. I have used it to make smoothies and it works so great. I have not had to make a Protein Shakes yet since my surgery is not until 4/10. I know it will work great.

I bought one and the lid to the container didn't even work right out of the box I thought the design was odd. I took it back and got the professional vitamix..way more money but It's been worth every penny so far...the design is great and there is no removing of any blades to clean it..very easy and works wonderfully.

I have not tried the Ninja, but I love our Vitamix! Best investment we have made in the kitchen.

I have the Ninja pulse, and use it all the time. Except last week while making low carb bread crumbs the motor started making a funny noise. Customer service is great though. Call their 1800 number and they basically take down your name and number and ship you the things you need no questions asked.

I heard the Ninja is a really good blender, compares with Vitamix, I'd try it out for sure :)

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
