Angie-No problem. We can meet up another time if you'd like. That area I was talking about is probably 1/2 for both of us. Let me know when is good for you.

I'm off to my Dr that wanted me to do his 1 hour diet. Haven't been in 7 weeks so I am anxious to see what his scale has to say. It is higher than curves.

Found a GREAT place to buy bra in Dilworth. I.C. London Shelly is the owner and fantastic I was ready to go into the maternity store and buy a nursing bra for crying out loud! Shelly knows a lot and also has delt with alot of WL people. I'm not going to even consider a reduction of anything for a year, at least. Anyway she was great if you go be sure to tell her I sent you the girl with the HUGE Hooters that has that magazine, she'll know who your talking about..lol..

Well gotta get dressed I'll let you know what he says.

John and I have been on "vacation" all week. We stayed home and goofed off. We rode our motorcycles some, hung out in the pool, ate out a bunch! I feel refreshed and renewed, and as ready as I'll ever be to go back to work.

My last fill seems to be doing the trick for me. I have restriction and am staying satisfied for close to 4 hours now. :) I'm having to pay attention to how slow I eat and how well I chew.

I really look forward to seeing everyone again!

I know, or at least I think I know, that most of the weight is Water, but I cautiously stepped on the scale this morning and I am 283. TWO EIGHTY THREE!!!!!

I stepped off, turned it off, turned it back on, got back on, 283!

It cant be that I am dehydrated, (TMI) my pee is light yellow.

I guess all that shopping is working.

Girls these newbies are going to keep us on our toes.

Mike and I celebrated 7 years of marriage today. I know it's not a long time but for someone who thought they would never be married or even have a kid it's been a long time. We went out friday night just the 2 of us which was weird. To be able to eat a meal without having to tend to a 3 yr old.

Well I spent the day with my cousin, my trunk was plum full of items from other mom's in the area. It's amazing how a group of people can come together in such a short time and help someone out. There has been so many tears shed it's so hard to be strong for them. Mike and I went looking for fire safes tonight and there is are so many to choose from. But it has really made us stop and think of what we could loss.

Alright well ya'll have a great night and I will chat with ya'll later.

Well all...things have been chaotic around here. The girls got their schedules and teacher assignments. Neither are happy. Karah didn't get into the same 1st grade class as her best friend that I will be watching before and after school so she is upset. Kristen has three classes in the wrong level....we actually have to go to the school today to discuss it and see about getting her schedule fixed. Me...well I've unofficially been given a title at work. Knowing the Y it will be another year before I get it officially...heck I haven't even gotten a name tag yet.

Weight loss wise I'm fighting depression. I am miserable. I've gained back weight...I seem to have slipped into soft food eating. I even got stuck on Kathy's bean salsa yesterday. I'm not getting stuck and pbing...well more often that I would like, but I am getting stuck and sliming daily now. I am back to having to drink coffee with all my meals or I can't eat. Except dinner where I seem to be able to eat about anything except chicken....gawd I think I hate chicken. I had to cancel my nutrition appointment for today...partially because of kids stuff and partially because I'm low on gas and trying to stretch that tank till friday. School starts friday, so I will start working out again regularly and that may help. I hate to post whinny posts because it can be discouraging to those that are looking into the band and such. I am very happy I had the band, and I can almost say I'm happy even if I never lose another pound (not quite though) I know part of the deal is it is that time of month soon and I always swell and I always have issues with being tighter. I am seriously consider asking for a slight unfill though when I go next week. Whats the worst that can happen. I get an unfill and can gain weight on foods I'm suppouse to eat rather than gaining weight on foods I'm not suppouse to?

I don't stay full because I have to drink the coffee with the meals or eat something that is just going to pass easily through the band....so maybe a slight unfill would be best? Or maybe I should just go strickly soft for a couple of days and hope swelling goes down and slowly try to eat solids again...gasp maybe at lunch. Because right now, the only time I eat solid Protein like chicken, beef, etc is at night. The rest of the day is yogurt, cheese sticks, cottage cheese, Beans, etc.

Geez, sorry for the overlong post.

Melissa, YES! Get a small unfill!!!!! You NEED to eat, your band being too tight can cause esophogus problems in the long term (low motility, I think they call it) and being too tight is all around wrong! Oh puleeeeeze get a small unfill and go eat you a big ole salad and a big ole bowl of Pasta. Eat a damn cheeseburger! I'm serious. Stick your hand out, now lemme smack it...there...now get that unfill. Be happy! Bandsters aren't supposed to starve their bodies of nutrition. Bandsters aren't supposed to get stuck on everything we eat and drinking hot coffee before a meal to open things up should only be a temporary thing, like maybe at that TOM. Not for months and months.

Okay, that's it. You need an unfill. Talk to the hand...nope, I don't wanna hear it. You go get happy first.

Kim-When I was 3 or 4 our house burnt down. I was really to young to remember all the details but I do remember bits and pieces of it. I couldn't lite a match until I was 17yrs old. Everything was lost on the first floor of the house. I know the basement had Water damage. I do remember living in a rental house while our house was being rebuilt. I asked Jimmy about clothes and he doesn't have any. I will send an email out to my Sunday school class and see if anyone there has anything.

Jill- you go girl that is AWESOME!

Melissa-hang in there you've done great with 50 pounds. I know how frustating it can be. I'm going nuts with PMS right now. I'm really trying to have a few bites of something healthy every hour. Yesterday I did great until after dinner I said lets make Sundae's! I never say that so the kids jumped and ran to get fixin's at the store. I did have a smaller bowl than the rest of the gang and I enjoyed every bite. The good thing about me is that I never go back for ice cream that is in our fridge so now it will sit there until I throw it away. It's wierd it doesn't call me like the chocolate in the house does!

Today is our 25th anniversary. Gar came home last night from Birmingham. He has no clue but I'm kidnapping him tonight..oh here he comes GTG

I feel guilty posting good stuff in the midst of hard times and tragedy. I have restriction since my last fill, and I'm doing great! I have to be more careful to eat slowly and chew really well, and now I have to be very careful of any untoasted bread products. Otherwise, I have about 1/2 - 1 cup capacity and stay full for the better part of 3-4 hours.

John and I are putting our house on the market and making an offer on a new home. It's less than a mile down the main road from where we live now, but it's new. We sit down with the realtor this evening to sign paperwork! :D

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
