Thats better than I thought it would be considering all these little stalls. I want to break into the 150's so bad! Maybe next week, I will be 150something. I dont care if its 159.9, I just want to forever say good bye to the 160's! Good luck everyone!!!! see you next week!

Hi all,

OMG - I am .1 lb away from GOAL. The day I am at 150, I am declaring GOAL if it is a Friday or not!! I've been pretty good this week. A little snacking, but I brought it way back under control and I've been walking a couple extra days. I did miss one workout on Monday.

Dont you mean 135? I think its a little late to be declaring 150 as your goal! LOL. I would consider myself there. Just get on the scale and breathe out! Tada! You are at goal, my friend! Congrats!

Well, just thought I would pop in briefly. It seems my blood clot is well under control now. Still going to have to take Cumadin for another 2 or 3 months I guess, but the swelling is nearly gone and I'm back into my routine. I leave next Friday for Europe and while I will taste things in moderation over there, I am going to allow myself to enjoy their food without obsessing about my goal while I'm on vacation. I know my sleeve will keep me in check and will try to get in what exercise while I can.

Here are my current stats. We will see where I'm at when I return which will be after this challenge is finished.

Surgery Weight: 271

Easter Challenge Start Weight: 148

Current weight: 136

Easter Goal Weight: 125 - also my final goal weight

Perfect attitude for your vacation - the sleeve will keep you in check and you should be enjoying all that Europe has to offer (including the amazing food)! So glad your blood clot is under control. You'll be doing so much walking that you'll have tons of incidental exercise. Have fun!!!

Thanks Sara! Considering I gained 9# with the blood clot practically overnight, I'm just thrilled to be in the 130's. I haven't seen that number EVER as an adult. I think being at this weight is going to make such a long flight so much more comfortable and I won't have to worry about crowding someone else in their seat. :-)

I started the challenge a little late and it took 20 days to lose 9 pounds. There is only - what, 18 days left? Who knows? I might make it. If I do, I will be just past my halfway to goal mark. I've already hit Onederland and first 50 pounds lost on this challenge.

Hooray!!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
