  • Popular Post

For those longing to break the crazy daily weigh in addiction, I invite you to join me in weighing in once a week...I have chosen Saturday mornings and the 27th of every month to weigh in.

We can check in every Saturday and be accountable, and see how it goes.

Here's to super Saturday's y'all

P.s. I will be weighing later, I'm up early because of my hubby's snoring

  • Well, I've finally done it. I'm in ONEDERLAND. I weighed in at 198.4 this morning. I didn't drink enough Water the week of Thanksgiving and I had gained 6 lbs in water weight. I know it was water

I so wish I could commit to this. I have had my husband hide a scale from me so many times

then I went out and bought a miniature scale and hid that from him. I think it's an addiction LOl

Hello I'm new to this whole thing & I need help & support with my journey. With my insurance have some pre-op things to do before I can have surgery. The biggest one is to loose 10% of my starting weight. My first weigh will be August 5,2014

  • 4 weeks later...

Weight to date 156.4

Slow but coming off

Goal weight 145

Now its coming off very slow only lost 2/3 of a pond in past two weeks...but thats ok I was on vacation

And even if it takes me till my 1 year anniversary to loose the other 10 im ok with that.

I'm terrible about weighing every day and I don't even have my surgery until October 24! But I'm going to make a sincere effort to go to once a week weighing. These fluctuations on a daily basis are driving me nuts and are totally frustrating. I hope to make this thread a weekly part of my weightloss life.

@kbirnie~ in the support groups I've attended and also the online groups. It's been discussed this is not uncommon. It depends on the individually & their recovery. Some make go as far as three months. The importance is to try to keep from dehydration.

I've read on here & my other support group that ginger root is suppose to help with the sickness.

I would not let it go on to long without consulting your physician. Only he or she can really know your situation. Keeping plenty of Water in your system is important.

Try ice chips or shaved ice like they give us following surgery.

Best wishes in your new journey!

I would love to be part of your support group. I am about 2 months out before my sleeve surgery. Hope I can jump in at that time.

Keep up the good work.
