Pre-op Liquid Diet For Two Days Before Gastric Sleeve Surgery And Not Clear Liquid Diet

I have a vsg next week and surgeon told me to do two day liquid diet before surgery. No clear liquid diet require one day before surgery and do not need any magnesium citrate medication to clean bowl because this is a stomach surgery. Nothing after midnight to drink not even a water. Did any one had same experience?
