Brushing Your Teeth And Gagging After Gastric Sleeve Surgery ?

Ok so i need to know if i am the only one that seems to have this problem. When i brush my teeth my gag reflex kicks in and it makes it very hard for me to brush my teeth. This just started a few days ago. I am 23 days post op. I really hope this is not the new thing that i am going to have to deal with when brushing my teeth because it is no fun..

I have/had a terrible gag reflux before and after (no change) BUT I am noticing that I feel like I need to brush my teeth more often (normally twice a day)- I feel like my mouth is grainey or coated after the protein drinks etc.. I'm sure it is the sugar because I normally dont drink that kind of stuff....

But good question :)
