I am new to this site. My sister and I have our consultation in 2 days. I am so excited and can't wait to book our surgeries. I am hoping it will not take long to get our dates! No insurance involved so don't have that worry.

I have been reading on all the threads and everyone is so helpful here, I can't wait to start my journey. I am nervous about the pain after surgery,but I know i can do it. My sister is also have it done and we hope it will be done on the same day and we will be there for each other.

That sounds so awesome!! Good luck at your consult! My older sis had gastric bypass in 08 and it didn't go too well. One of the reasons I started looking into the sleeve...I have been trying to get my other sis to get on board with me but she is scared!
