Take Baby Steps
BLC members find small ways to make big, lasting changes in their lives.
Trying to revamp your entire life can feel overwhelming, so overwhelming that you might not change it at all.
Many BLC members have found that little alterations to their behavior make a big difference in how they feel about themselves and inspire them to make more changes. Which inspire them to make more changes. Which inspire them to make more changes. And so on...
Little by little, they end up with a whole new way of life based on healthy eating and enjoyable activities.
Here are a few tales of tiny transformations taken directly from our member Message Boards to inspire you:
"I gave up soda about three or four weeks ago. I was drinking regular Coke, about two a day. I don't need that sugar! I was totally addicted to the caffeine and sugar. I'm so proud I have given that up."
"I gave up eating after 7 p.m. I used to never snack at night until a few months ago. I've cut that out."
"I am starting to walk on my treadmill and am going to start doing the circuit training."
"I did my elliptical tonight, even though I really didn't want to."
In the words of one BLC member, "Changing one thing at a time will make a difference. What are you doing that you can cut out or alter?"
