Im just wondering what anyone has paid for a revision in Mexico.. My band was renoved over a year ago because I had difiiculty eating Proteins, meat, chicken, salad but could eat ice cream, candy etc.. I did lose weight but it was difficult with all the vomiting that kept happening when I tried to eat good food.

Anyway i have gained back 30lbs..I see the low costs but am told it is at least a $1000 more because I had a band.

I orig had may band done in 2007 by Dr Aceves. Am now thinking about Dr Kelly due to his cost is still lower & he does have good reviews.

I had my band removed about 2 years prior to going to Dr. Aceves to have the sleeve. He charged me the normal sleeve rate, although he did have to spend more time in surgery because of scarring. I do not know about other docs, but he didn't charge my any more just because I had had the band removed! Good luck to you!!

Hi, I went to Dr. Kelly and it was 700.00 more I think..Mine had been out since 08 and I was just sleeved 7/13/2011. But I think the normal is 1000.00.. Dr. Kelly is a wonderful Dr..

I am a revision from a stomach staple which I know is different but it's $500 more with Almanza.
