New here

Well, I made the step and on 9/7/2011, I had my sleeve done. It was done by the VA in Palo Alto, CA. I entered surgery at 284 lbs, and on high blood pressure meds, diabetic meds, insullin dependent. At my 2 wk follow-up I weighed 269 and am no longer on any medication (except multi vititamens). I don't have a problem getting in my protein or water in, but do have issue with my carbs- which comes from the greek yogurt I have for breakfast. I am taking in roughly 600 cal per day, 70g protien, 15g fat, and 40-50g of carbs.

WELCOME gamo!!!! :)

It quite sounds to me that you are doing really good. Keep hanging in there. I was 283 Lbs at my Pre Op diet, and I can say the weight seemed to just melt away. You will be very pleased with your results come this time next year.

:D
