What's your favorite low-carb milk?

I love skim milk with my shakes but 12 grams of carbs is more than I really want in a shake.

I tried unsweetened almond milk and it's OK. But with some shakes the almond flavor comes through too much and tastes weird.

I like Hood's Calorie countdown but it can be as much as $5 for a half gallon. Waiting for a sale.

I haven't tried soy yet. It's hard to find the unsweetened. Does it have much of a flavor of its own or does it just taste like skim milk? Thanks!

I use the Hood's Calorie Countdown. It's a little spendy, but it lasts longer in the fridge than regular milk, so you get more mileage out of it. My hubby knows not to use my milk on his cereal.

I use soy in my protein shakes, but couldn't imagine drinking it on it's own. It has a REALLY weird strong flavour. It's nothing like normal milk. It's sort of... beany? LOL, I can't even describe it. But it's all good when blended up with the shake flavourings!
