Cow's Milk or Almond Milk?

When I had my pre-op class the nutritionist told us to use cow'smilk and not almond milk. That's fine unless your watching your carbs.

Just wondering what everyone else using and why? Has anyone told you not to use Almond milk?

Let's discuss this. :D

My dietician said cow's milk, no almond milk. dry.gif I really like Almond milk and it is as low as 40 cal while skim is 90. But... almond milk only has 1g protein and skim milk has 9g.

I hadn't heard this either but I have 5 boxes of almond milk waiting on me to get out of the clear stage!

Well I was thinking we get our calcium from the pills/liquid we all take. And I know I get plenty of protein per day, so I don't really need the protein in the milk for my shakes. So was thinking of using Almond milk instead to save calories and carbs.
