Looking for VSG Buddies/Mentors in Maine?

I'm looking at getting the sleeve surgery and would love to hear about other folks experience, what I should expect and also feedback on the best place and doctor.

Thanks!

Hi I'm Amanda and live in NH. I had my sleeve done on June 8th and love it. Although I must admit this is a difficult time of year. I see all the holloween candy and my mouth still waters. Thinking of the holiday meals and all the baking my coworkers do this time of year and knowing I can't partake in most of it stinks. However I have lost nearly 60 lbs in 5 months and feel great. I went from a size 22 to a 14-16 pants and love it. I am still losing but not as quickly as someone with the full bypass but at a rate that is comfortable to me. Now I must admit I do have some sagging skin and my hair falls out a it more but I wouldn't change a thing. I just need to increase my excercise. Hope this helps.
