Thank you IndioGirld for taking the time and sharing your meals with me. Well I have to admit that I am eating pretty much what you are. So that makes me very happy. Thank you again. And your right....I will DO this. Was your weight loss about 1-2 lbs per week or was it more? May I ask what kind of exercise you do and for how long? You are true inspiration to me. Rose

My weight loss varied 1 lbs one week 2 the next then maybe 2.5 or 1.5 and a few weeks I may have lost 3 and a couple times for and then some weeks just 1/2 lbs - But If I remember correctly it was usually around 1.5 a week.. double Click on my ticker - and it will show my history - but truly I was just happy that each week was a loss - cuz it all added up - if you take 105 lost (250 to 145 1 yr 1 week) that averages to 8.75 a month that's 2.19 a week average even though it did vary... It's gone so that's all I really cared about and I strived and worked very hard to get the weight off in 1 yrs time.

The statistic say that we will only lose 50 to 60% of our excess weight - well heck what are they saying that fat chicks don't have the will power to lose all their excess weight - I wanted to prove them wrong and I am a little competitive and stubborn :tt1: I didn't like someone saying that I couldn't do it - I am the kind of person that will show someone I can do it when the say I can't:sneaky:

Exercise - I did the treadmill for the first 8 months started slow like 1 mile in 25 minutes and every few weeks I would increase my speed and # of miles walked (1 hr max workout time and i think in the beginning I did 1/2 hr then worked up to 45 then 1 hr - occasionally on a Saturday morning I might do 1 1/2 hrs as I have the time and energy as I go after work each day) and I went to the gym 5 times a week - M T W F Sat (took Thurs & sun off)- I am up to 3 or 3.5 miles in 48 speed 4. on flat surface and 3.5 on inclines up to 8 - 3.0 on inclines above. In March I got a personal trainer and started working weights - so then I did weights 2x week and treadmill 2x week - some weeks I might only get 1 day of treadmill - but I still have my trainer and do my weights 2x week. So in maintenance I strive for 4 days a week but sometimes life gets in the way and I only make it 3 :cursing: Janet

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
