I can't be your surgery buddy because I won't be there, but I had my sleeve done on 4/13 and I went alone. Actually drove myself down from a little north of Los Angeles. Had great experience and would go alone without reservation all over again! 30 lbs...that is great! I am more nervous to not have family or friends to talk to. I am thinking the night in the hotel is going to be lonely. I am used to traveling for business alone but have always had my family for medical things. Did u complete a pre op diet? I am having problems adhering to the 1 week diet which make me question if I will be able to handle the post op diet and life changes.
