Cheese Crisps

I dont know who posted this but I came across this recipe and tonight I made it and it is soo yummy!

I take 1/2 cup of Fat Free Kraft Shredded Chedder cheese and 4 Tbsp of Parmasan Cheese and blend it in a food processor until its pretty fine tiny chunks almost powder like. I personally take a cookie sheet, cover it with foil and spray it with butter flavored pam but you can use any nonstick surface baking sheet or whatever. Take scoops of 1tsp each and press into little flat circles onto pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Yields 24 crisps = 4.2 oz cheese

170 calories, 6 fat, 0 sugar, 4 carbs, 26 Protein in 24 crisps!

Enjoy :D

Oh yeah, I like those (Just the Cheese) when I want a crunchy snack. Unfortunately, I could easily eat several bags, so I have to be careful not to make them too convenient! I tried the popped ones hoping they'd make do when I was having a popcorn craving .... um ... not so much.

I just tried these using soy cheese. They were amazing. I can see using them as a garnish on soups and other puréed foods to give crunch and a bit more protein. I've seen these done with just Parmesan and poppy seeds with a lollipop stick for a cocktail party. And some restaurants makes these as a garnish to their entrees. So glad to have tried these! Thanks for posting!!

Just bought something similar on amazon...excited to try!

Any tips how to make this without the food processor?

Are you referring to the cheese crisps? if so, just cut them up and put on parchment paper in microwave. No food processor needed.

Thanks for sharing...OMG they sound delish, I am so putting this in my recipe file!

Yum!!! I have to try this. I also saw on YouTube that you can make "cheese it's" in the microwave with sliced cheese. Here is the link:

WOW!!! these are REALLY good! thanks for the post. you guys are the BEST!!!

I'm confused are these like cheese it's? And I'm 5 wks out today, when is good to eat these

Hi, I am 4 1/2 weeks out and just made them. they taste like a cheez-it but are softer. I really liked them.

Can't get any easier than this! I'm going to try them as soon as I get some parchment paper.
