My date is the 18th in NC. I start preop diet for 2 wks on Wednesday. I am ready and scared and overwhelmed and freaked out but can't wait for a great change in my life. I am very afraid of the / wks on liquids.

Yes. My appt w him is on 9-20, they'll do everything in one day. I'm nervous because I'm meeting him 2 wks before surgery. But he came highly recommended. Can we eat anything on our optifast diet or liquids only?

I feel exactly the same way. I teeter back and forth but still think surgery is a good choice. I don't have a surgery date yet but feel your concern.
