Finally found greek yogurt I like

Hi-

I have been looking for a greek yourt to suplement my diet since the beginning of mushies. It's not that I hate the sour taste, but my stomach will turn at the thought of eating anything that has such a strong flavor. So I gave it one more try. Trader Joes came out with a greek blended yogurt. Note: if you are doing strict low carb or no sugar, this may not be for you. It comes in a few flavors. I tried the blueberry and I am eating the honey flavor right now. Both are delicious. The flavor seems to take the edge off the tartness of the greek yogurt - it's so much easier for me to tolerate. If you don't like greek yogurt, you might want to give this one a try. At my Trader Joe's, one serving is $.99

Cals: 120

Fat: 0

Carb: 17

Protein: 14

Since I am one who could never stomach a Protein shake, this protein amount is really going to help me get closer to my intake goal.

I haven't heard of that brand! I will definitely keep a look out! Thank you!!!

Have you tried Yoplait's greek yogurt, in particular the honey vanilla. That is the only brand that I have found doesn't give me an after taste.

I bought the zero fat plain Greek yogurt, I add one scoop of chocolate flavored protein powder to about 1/2 a cup of yogurt. It tastes like chocolate pudding just not as sweet!!! It's my fav!!!! and I'm sure it would taste great with different flavors of protein powder. Not only that, but its low carb and helps me almost double my protein intake!!! Hope this helps a little!

Where did greek yogurt come from? I've never heard of it until the last year or so. Did they have it before, but just not market it?
