I am planning on having band to sleeve revision. I'm hoping to be able to have the surgery at the same time that the band is removed. Has anyone had any complications or had to wait for your stomach heal after having the band removed?

I had both procedures at the same time. Some people have to wait for medical reasons - you did not mention if you had any complications from the band? Getting rid of that band was the best thing I ever did :-)

Just had my band out this past Sunday and revision at the same time. There was ALOT of scar tissue to repair, but from what I understand from several doctor consults, if there isn't an erosion, you can have the band and and sleeve revision done in the same surgery. If there is an erosion, and the doctor says he will still do it, I would think twice about that doctor.
