Has anyone had there VSG done by Dr. Vohra in Hewlett, N.Y. I have a consulation with him

this week. Would like to get feedback and advice on what questions to ask. I was leaning towards the LAP Band, but after viewing all of the forums here, I have decided against it. I have the Empire Govt Plan and would like to know what is my waiting period before I get approved. I have co-morbidities as well.

I used Dr. Vohra! Great surgeon! I had BCBS Healthy NY plan why I had my band and I was approved a week after I finished all my testing. No 6 month diet or anything. If you need help or have questions feel free to message me :-)

He will be doing my surgery next month. His entire team is so wonderful - they are with you every step of the way. Definitely go to the support group meetings too - I met some nice people last month who answered all my silly last minute questions. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!!
