So excited about my new life!!

I am so excited. I am only one week and two days post-op, but I am feeling great. I lost 10 lbs pre-op and have lost another 12 lb since surgery. I took my one years old to the park twice today...Man, was she worn out and me too. It was so nice to be able to climb on the toddler playground after her. I am not in a lot of pain except for when I sleep. My doctor recommended that I keep my binder on for two weeks post-op, but I feel like I really don't need it except when I sleep. I am so happy I had this surgery and look forward to further positive weight losses. My goal is to be able to do things I never thought possible at my weight previously. I found this awesome protein that has 26 grams of protein in it for one serving. Almost a half a full day serving of protein alone, but with the skim milk makes a half serving!! I am so excited!! YAY to my new life! : )

Congrats!!! I can't wait until I get my date. I have a question though what is a binder? I haven't heard of that before. Thanks!!

Wow! that is grrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaattttttttt!! You are off to a wonderful start! I cannot wait until the 15th so I can weigh myself again! I am trying to weigh myself every 2weeks! We will see how this goes!!!!!!!!

Binder is a stretchy piece of fabric that you wrap around your waist to keep things from moving around so much in your abdominal area. It really helps, although, it makes my incisions itch like the Dickens!! <_<

Glad to hear you are not in any pain--give me hope and brought me relief this morning. Happy to hear you are doing great!!! Pleas tell us what protein drink you found that has 26 grams.

I found it at Meijer, but it is called Super Advanced. I like drinking this versus others because then I can have other foods with protein and don't feel like I am doing the same dang thing all the time. Mine is chocolate flavored.
