More than likely I'm going to have to save up the money and travel to Mexico for the surgery. I haven't officially made up my mind on the surgeon yet, possibly Dr. Ortiz. I'm still reading and comparing things.

Another Houston person here. Had my sleeve 7/17/12 with Dr Sherman at Methodist in the medical center.

Cool. I have my surgery June 26. I live by Joe Pool in Grand Prairie. Im on my shakes today. Boy its tough drinking them. I need chewable Vitamins. I looked everywhere. Can some help please? I found multi vitamins today at GNC. No Iron.

Doing my pre-op process. Insurance approved, did sleep study (which was what qualified me), had the psych appointment. Have to see the nutritionist tomorrow, then start the 3-month supervised weight loss.

Here in Cypress (suburb of Houston). Starting my pre-op diet today (Tuesday, 8/14) and I will be sleeved in 2 WEEKS on Tuesday, 8/28. I'm ready to get'er done, lol!!! :-)

In Lufkin, TX, about 2 hours north of Houston, but moving to Galveston hopefully very shortly!!!!
