can anyone tell me what that is called or how to spell it, a friend has it and almost died. can someone help me thank you vicki

It looks like it is Diverticulosis, the presence of abnormal outpouchings in the wall of the colon. This can happen to those without WLS. Dont know if it might be because of WLS, but cant find any connection on the internet.
