Just got an exercise bike from Freecycle - motivation?

I am 2 weeks out and I figure that an exercise bike would be great. Plus it was free and is in really good shape. Any ideas to keep me motivated? Or is it just a will power thing?

Thanks in advance.

The only way I'd be motivated to do it is if I combined it with some other leisure activity (e.g. reading a book or watching TV) or if I signed up for something competitive. One of my friends is trying to lose weight now and since her mother died of cancer last year, she decided to sign up for Ride For the Cure. It's about 6 months away, and since it's impossible to bike outside, she's been training indoors with a stationary bike.
