New Surgery Date!! October 23rd here I come!!

Hi All,

I will be getting my sleeve in 21 days and I am planning on cutting back on my food intake starting tomorrow! Has anyone had better luck with this method, Basically I am going to just eat smaller portions until the 16th when I start my liquid diet, this way it won't be such a huge change! Anyone have any suggestions and ideas for the liquid diet, also what methods did you take before the liquid diet? I also read some people were talking about protein shakes from Trader Joes, I am a huge fan of that store, so what would be good to grab from there for pre-op and post op?

Thanks for any suggestions...getting excited and nervous, I see that's the pretty common feelings!!

Gratz on getting a date for so soon.

Be careful not to buy too many Protein powders, etc. ahead of time as many people's taste change after surgery.

I don't have a Trader Joe's where I live, so can't help with that. But, I'm sure someone else can.

Best of luck with your surgery, keep us posted.
