Wow on the leak test while still open. That's awesome! I had the drink test the next day but I was waiting anxiously for it. I wasn't allowed an ice chip until that test was over. I've never had a drier 24 hours in my life! My mouth felt like I'd been licking the sandy dessert.

It's exciting to read how great everyone is doing!!

Hey Chef,

Are you still on Clear liquids? Are you able to drink your Protein shake at all? I hope the dizziness goes away quickly. I had a little in the hospital, but not since I've been home.

Hi-

That test was horrid!

I could barely stand, and to think about drinking...

Thankful they laid the table back- I was near fainting...

as for SSF. staff- I was never treated better, even on a vacation...

the nurses were great, the Dr. was awesome! I had a followup with Dr. Le.

he was great in answering questions.

now to get over the hump... I get very dizzy when I stand up, nearly fainted this morning...

I am drinking, I also added Protein Water in this morn to see if that helps...

Lee, I know what you mean! It's really mean, however, to make us drink that horrible drink as the first taste of liquid in 24 hours though...lol

I'm feeling pretty good, I'm done with antibiotics and have a new inhaler which seems to have helped things. I feel pretty good for surgery in less than 3 weeks.

Dargar-

I was advanced to stage III

todays Breakfast was Protein Shake, lunch was yogurt and 1 slice of cheese/1 slice turkey and 3 crackers. dinner was 1/3 of a turkey patty, 1/4 baked potato and 4 green beans-

dinner was too much-

I also went and walked 2 miles today, and have bypassed my Water levels-

Good for you Chef.... I'm on stage 2 and have my appt next Tues. Hoping and looking forward to being advanced to Stage 3. Guess I will be drinking a Protein shake for the 4th of July

YIKES! I tried to eat leftover last nights dinner-

3 bites and I was ready to burst then spent next hour with dry heaves...

finally it came up...

i'm stepping back down to the softs... 1 cup of apple sauce I'm good to go...

why bother...

Yeah, I've pushed it a few times too and paid the price, although luckily I haven't gotten sick to the point of vomiting yet. I'm still getting used to phase 3, and need to keep reminding myself how big my tummy is now. Or rather, how little it is now.

At all the Kaiser classes they keep using the plastic egg ad a visual, I really wish they'd use the boughie instead. Give us something to reference here people!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
