For those of you worried about hair loss, or you have thin hair right now

I have been hearing promising things about castor oil for hair regrowth and to prevent hair loss.If you look up castor oil for hair loss on you tube you will see alot of videos about the thickening and growth results of just using 100 percent cold pressed castor oil on the scalp 2 times a week.I ordered some cold pressed castor oil from a vitamin store on the web Im gonna start using it now and if it works I will continue to use it.It also is suppose to work for growing eye lashes longer and thicker..I will let you know the results as I go along. Here are the directions for use

1.Put your castor oil in an applicator bottle that you can get at a beauty supply store,(you can use half castor and half coconut or grapseed oil to dilute.Or just plain castor.

2.APPLY small amount to scalp in thin areas or areas you need growth and massage in with your fingertips.

3.Wrap with towel, turby twist,or plastic cap and sleep overnight and wash your hair as normal in the morning..Only do this 2 times a week because castor oil is very thick and sticky.

4.You also can leave on head about an hour then rinse but overnight gets better results.

YOur suppose to see visible results in 6 weeks you should see new growth and thicker growth.

5.For eyeslashes apply castor oil to qtip and apply thin coat over eyelashes at root.

they say you see results with your eyelashes in less than 3 weeks.

I havent done this yet, but as soon as my oil comes in im gonna try

I have heard really good reviews. They say middle eastern use castor oil on their scalp religiously and their hair is always so thick and beautiful.

WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED>Hopefully I will grow enough hair so incase surgery causes loss Ill have some backup hair.LOL:thumbup1:

Congratulations on your hair keeping.LOL...I have baby fine natural curly hair and I seriously am worried..Though I will have to wait 6 months before surgery.Im hoping to strengthen and/or grow my hair out more, take prenatals etc.Just incase..I know my best friend had the lapband and she didnt lose her hair.I guess everyone is different..Will keep everyone updated on my experiment I sure hope it works.

i'm 10 months out and didn't lose any hair. also castor oil cream is something i've use in my hair for years right along with coconut oil for hot oil treatments. i have natural curly fine hair as well there just alot of it. also my hair is in better condition then it was before surgery natural shine and all so i don't now if it was the weightloss or the flax seed oil or what but i guess it just a person to person thing and how your body handel the stress and i don't think there really anything to fix hormones except time to work it out themselves.

Hey Ryans girl..I have also heard where some peoples hair was in better conditon after surgery maybe eating better, the hormonal changes etc. That gives me some hope anyway. But I guess id rather be healthy and skinnny with thin hair than fat and unhealthy with a head full LOL..

I don't know if Middle Easterners use castor oil for their hair, but they use it to clean out their colons!! lol (I live in Lebanon)

My grandmother was english and she loved that stuff... She'd use it for anything from treating constipation to inducing labor... I'd run the other way when I saw her break out the bottle.
